Second, you need to feel at ease with them so you can discuss your symptoms, medical history, and feelings in confidence. Being able to talk openly with your primary care physician ensures an accurate diagnosis and a treatment plan you’re happy with.

Finally, you’ll want to feel as though, throughout your treatment and recovery period, you and your nurse practitioner are working together to obtain the best possible outcome. You should take an active role in your health and feel that your primary care physician is doing all they can, too.
